PUTTING YOUR GOALS INTO HEADLINES FOR SUCCESS!
Haven't we all heard that we need to put our Goals into "NOW" statements? We need to see our Goals as if they are already our reality. What better way to do that than with Newspaper or TV type Headlines! Create Headlines with your Goals and see them boldly displayed.
Let me help you get started. Here are a few sample Headline goals:
Sara easily loses 15 lbs!
Jane wins big on well thought out investment strategy!
Mary lands major clients and opens up new markets for clients!
Sue buys beachfront condominium!
Ellen is driving a new Lexus!
Now just substitute your name for any of the above or use these headlines as a guide to create your own Headlines for Success.
After creating your headlines about your goals, write an article about each headline and make it real to you. Here is an example using one of the goals:
Sara easily loses 15 lbs!
Sara is using a simple weight loss program - eating healthy and getting daily exercise! After struggling for years with yo-yo diets, Sara is now easily losing weight and getting into great shape. Sara found that the secret of her great weight loss program is in getting the proper nutrition by eating healthy foods, starting her day each morning on her Chi Machine, body brushing, having a vitamin cocktail and taking her supplements, as well as, getting daily exercise. She is enjoying eating foods that have a high nutritional value, and is feeling better than she has in years. A simple daily exercise program easily fits into her schedule. She is in great shape and has lots of energy.
When writing your article, be as detailed as you possibly can, therefore making it your reality. You must see it as already happening. Visualize it! Feel it! Be it!
Sometimes it's hard to get our arms around the "Be - Do - Have" principles, but it makes so much sense. "BE" through visualizing and feeling your goal, "DO" by taking action on it and then the "HAVE" will come naturally - it becomes your reality.
LEAVING A LEGACY! Having a Vision for your Life!
Okay, now that you've taken your goals and put them into Success Headlines, let's talk about the Vision you have for your Life. What Legacy are you leaving? What do you want to be remembered for? You and I both know that you won't be remembered for how big your house was or what kind of car you were driving, but rather what mark you made on the lives of others. Remember that we come into this world with nothing and we take nothing with us when we leave. Just amassing a fortune for fortunes' sake really isn't what life is all about. We have to be doing something with the fortune to add meaning to our lives. We've all heard that old saying, "Without a Vision, people perish". Is your Vision crystal clear?
So take a look deep inside yourself and find your vision. You will need to get quiet so that you will be able to hear your inner voice. Today, it's so hard for us to have a quiet time or even a few minutes to ourselves. We are bombarded with life - television, radio, working, kids, entertainment, cleaning, shopping, and on and on. What's a woman to do when you have the jobs of 3 to 5 people? Make a "To Do" list and put yourself on that list!
Allow yourself a few minutes a day to get quiet and ask yourself the questions, "What is my Vision?" "What do I want to do with my life?" "What mark do I want to leave on humanity?" "What Legacy do I want to leave?" And then just listen to that still small voice within. You can't hear it unless you get quiet and focus on these things. When you do, you will begin to get the answers you are looking for. Your life will take on a new purpose and your Vision will begin to become clear. The Universe will begin to bring to you those people and things that will make it come alive. It all happens in the right time and right place for your specific purpose. Remember, the teacher arrives when the student is ready - be open to learn. You must grow into your Vision. There are no mistakes in the Universe. You have created your own reality. Is it what you wanted? If not, then get quiet to clarify it and know that you are empowered to create and live your Vision!
